Next, he’ll make an impression of your tooth, which he sends to a lab to have your permanent crown made. Since this can take a few weeks, Dr. Farokhian will provide you with a temporary crown to protect your tooth until your permanent crown is ready. When your permanent crown is ready, he’ll secure it to your tooth using cement.
How long do dental crowns last?
